Over the past month or so I have gotten in the habit of taking one second (snippet) video a day by using this app (inspired by Cesar Kuriyama's TED talk). The number one reason I do it is because my days get blurred and I don't remember what I did. I try to compile it into monthly videos to have a look back and appreciate the days.

While the videos are great, I can't really analyze how my days were.

Then I remembered the article Your Life in Weeks by Wait But Why where it shows different aspects of life in a grid that I enjoyed a couple of years ago.

I wanted to combine the daily visual aspect that can be analyzed and grid format into one and that is how the idea for Your Life in Emojis was born.

A simple Telegram bot that the user can record their day with an emoji.

Assuming that the user fills out emojis every day for a month, at the end of the month the user gets an image with their month of emojis in a grid format to share it on their social media platforms.

I am hoping to launch the bot by the end of the month.

Currently, struggling with best practices for firebase database on how to store and retrieve information.

If you are interested in working on this project together or know a ton about databases, I would love to talk to you. Reach out to me.

Hi @itsabhinaya! I had been working on an app version of your idea earlier last year. Here's an image of where I got to - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dfht-YpXcAAGujL.jpg
Happy to swap notes and see if there's anything I can help with. I'll send you a message on Twitter ?

@itsabhinaya @michaelpatel Nice idea (both of you)! and the image looks cool! :)
It kind of reminds me of the Mood trackers people use in their bullet journals.
