Wondering what to write every day

This is my first day on 200wordsaday. I am yet to figure out what to write about. In my past life, I have written about startups, atheism and a bit of book reviews, but that's about it.

I like the idea of limiting the writing to just 200 words. Cannot help but avoid any rambling.

Let me see what I'm going to write in the coming days...

Startups. I have founded 6 startups, 3 of them which have been used by more than 100k people. If that's not enough brag, I'm a YC alumni. So maybe something about that. About building and growing startups.

Freethinking. I was born a roman catholic in a very religious household. When I was 10, my friend handed me this book called 'God is not great' by Cristopher Hitchens, and it changed my life and that of many people around me. I no longer follow any religion or God, but do not fully reject the possibility. I come under the 'agnostic atheist' category. The only lie I tell is to my mom, that I go to church every Sunday. As much as I hate it, I think it's the right thing to do.

Hmm, I can't think of any other subject. That's pretty sad. Maybe this exercise will help me expand this list of my areas of expertise. Later then.

@georges Congratulations on your first post! I certainly would like to hear more about your startup experiences. Welcome to the community.

@georges - welcome George. Write about anything. This place seems to be more for the writer than the reader, though we do enjoy reading and commenting on interesting things.

@brianball I agree. Probably the only reason why I signed up for this. George is not my real name either. Thought I'll express more candidly if I do this pseudonym thing.

@georges - if you PATRON-up, you can write privately. ( or, you could always open a Google Doc and just not share it )

@brianball will definitely patron-up to support, but being public helps with accountability, and it's fun to read the comments :)

@georges - I'm curious, how does being public line up with using a not-real name? I feel like you've got some wisdom I need to avail myself of.

@georges Welcome! I love being able to dump my thoughts out here and 200 words seems to be the right level.
