When will everything be voice activated?

I love the idea of tracking progress for tasks and habits. The only problem is I'm lazy. I actually don't enjoy spending my time inputting stuff into docs, habit tracking apps or financial spreadsheets.

A lot of people love to say that without measurement you can't progress (or something to that effect). And yeah, that makes sense. I do believe it is important, but I wish there was an easier way.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a voice activated productivity app that handles everything you throw at it. For example, if I am at the gym I would just say "hey siri-app-whatever, I just did 10 reps of xyz, add it to my fitness spreadsheet". And then if you're doing something else, like your daily yoga practice, you could just say "I just completed my 20 minutes of yoga, cross that off the list for today and add it to my streak". Something like that ...

I bet a solution like that already exists, right? If so I'd love to hear about it.

The premise is that instead of opening my laptop, going to google docs, then to my finance app, then to my daily habits app and whatever else, I could just blurt it all out and some magical doc would format it nicely.

Does that sound too futuristic? Or is this also just a first-world problem that I should just dismiss and get over my laziness?

@jacklyons Seems to me something like this should already exist. Let's hope it was not developed by a company that wants to track you/use your data. In the meantime, perhaps you can consolidate all your tracking to one app so at least you are not jumping around to multiple tools. I am looking into the Way of Life app for such a purpose.
