As an aspiring Indie Hacker it's cool to see a micro startup like 200 WAD grow. Over the past 90 something days I've been active it has changed a ton. I can't imagine what it was like in the very, very beginning!

But that's what's cool about fresh products that are bootstrapped and battle tested by it's users: you get to see so many radical changes first hand, almost on a daily basis.

In my opinion, what's most important in the long-term success of a product, and what I think is being done really well here, is the creation of a like-minded community. The tribe of users who show up every day are the life-blood of this application. One of the big reasons to come back is so that we can engage with each other, give feedback, share stories and make new connections.

It's really hard to get traction when building an application - let alone repeat users. Marketing is hard work and spreading the word is daunting. The best thing about 200 WAD is that it's genuinely growing because of its thriving, caring and supportive community.

I'm really excited to watch this site grow and I think 200 WAD is the perfect example of how to do it right when bootstrapping an app or product.

Onwards!
