Mondays.

A hard day to write. Writing ideas are usually elusive on Mondays.

Maybe it is me.

Monday is the only day of the week I go to the office. It is usually hectic. We start the day by reviewing the completed Trello tasks. New tasks are discussed and prioritised. The boss is around. That means work. There's always a small bug to fix, here or there, add that to the task that is assigned for the day. If I'm not careful, I often miss breaks.

Get to leave the office by 4:30 pm, because I have a 6 to 9 meeting to attend.

By the time I'm leaving the meeting with my backpack, I really can't tell who is dragging who, maybe it's my legs or something else.

Then I get home and there is absolutely nothing in my head to write about.

Just like this evening, it is 10:48 pm right now and I am just slapping my hands on the keyboard hoping these word count numbers get to two hundred.

Monday writings are hard, but I take solace in the words of Benjamin Franklin who said...

"One today is worth two tomorrows, what I am to be I am now becoming."

    @seunoyebode - Pele.
    I could sense your exhaustion with the words you used.
    I love this - "slapping my hands on the keyboard" :)
    You are funny when you are exhausted.

    Keep writing - you are almost at 100 now.

    @seunoyebode

    A comment that Keni wrote made me view you in a different way. She said something about some person's opinion resonating more for folks like you and her because of the background you two share.

    I lack contextualization a lot. Like I come here kind of assuming people can't have much different background, but then this along with Keni's comment, along with that one post where you told me that you couldn't publish cause you literally had no internet connection puts me back into place, enlightens me with the fact that some people's backgrounds are very different.

    Like this post made me realize how busy you are. And I never knew. Or maybe I did know you were busy, but I didn't feel it until this post. The culmination on top of all our previous discourse.

    Anyways : TLDR: Thanks for showing up and sharing this even though you're busy. Sometimes I forget how busy people can be.

      @seunoyebode @abrahamKim - That was a nice comment Sir Abe. It is amazing how consistently Seun writes despite the obstacles. (Obstacles ARE the way :))
