About the gentleman from yesterday's post....
He was home schooled until grade 6. He talks affectionately about his mom.
"She made me read so many books." - He says.
She made sure that he got a lot of exposure while he was young..
His mom was worried when he decided to go to the marines. It was the most difficult brand of the United States military. But he chose it for exactly that reason.
Why not do the hardest thing? Prove to yourself what you are capable of!
What an interesting mindset to life.
He is happily married to his wife of 27 years. He tells me about relationships and what it takes to make it work with someone for so many years.
He proudly shows me pictures of his kids. He had pictures of them in their professional basketball jerseys.
We reached my destination. Before I left the car, he says he wants to show me something.
An image of a tattoo on his son's chest - by his heart.
It was a tattoo of him in his uniform.
Now this is exactly what a tattoo is for.
