When I was still studying, I do a lot of outdoor activities. I love any adventurous and extreme outdoor activities. It could be from jungle tracking or hiking to bungee jumping, it does not matter because I love that adrenaline and speed of blood flowing through my veins. The only thing that I do not like about this is that I will always sweat, as in really sweat a lot but I cannot do anything to stop that as is it human nature.
Writing about this brings back a lot of memories. There was a moment that me and my friends would always go hiking up the mountain. One day we set to go to a beach called Pantai Kerachut in Penang, Malaysia. To get to that beach, we could either rent a boat or do it the hard way by hiking up the mountain and down to that beach because that beach is at the other side of the mountain. This journey would take about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach that beach. We were so happy to jump into the sea after that long sweaty hike. At this point, I remembered that me and one of my friend was lying down by the beach and letting the sea waves push us up and down. The feeling of relaxation.
Suddenly I saw a plastic between the two of us, but it does not look like a normal plastic. So I asked my friend what was it. Before he could answer it, we got stung by it. That is when we knew it was not a plastic but a jelly fish. Not knowing what to do to remove the pain, we covered our self with sand and pour some sea water on it. Some of my other friends actually wanted to pee on me, saying that it could remove the pain. In the end, we just bare the pain for a few minutes till it disappears.
After that incident, I went researching more about jelly fish. I am not sure what type of jelly fish stung us but I know that it wasn't the poisonous type nor the deadly type known as the the box jelly fish.
