The worst nightmare for a freelancer that work from home, your kids sicks. You need to spend time with them while working until they recover, but with my wife help it still pretty much can handle.

Now the second worst nightmare happens, my wife sick.

It will be ok if I m still no work or no urgent job, I can just take a break too and take care of most of the things, but not now! I have 2 projects in rushing, one going to live in a week and another project has been pending for quite a few days due to the first one. It's kind of stress to have your wife sick during this period.

Not to bother with the detail, but I need to handle almost every little things at home now, although most of the time I handle like 70% of all these housework, now I need to handle like 99%.

So I have been driving, pack lunch,  fetch the kids, getting dinner, feeding medicine, bath the kids, entertain the big kid, looking at the younger to make sure my wife get enough rest. Hopefully, by getting enough rest, she can recover soon.

I better get some rest too after this, or else I might be the next one fall sick. That will be the another nightmare for a freelancer that work from home, sick while having rush project.

    You sound like a "Victim."
No one said that life is fair. Man up and do your duty as the head of the family. Be the "Victor."

Now, Hurry Up and finish those dishes in the sink! haha.

All kidding aside, I hope your wife gets well fast.

@knight @RealNegotiator Wow tough love! I am unmarried with no kids, so I cannot exactly relate to this domestic situation. Nevertheless, life is about how you react to situations and don't let the stress pull you down into the third worst nightmare of you getting sick!
