Today was a fun day spent in Boston. My friends and I explored Boston Commons, Quincy Market, a beer rooftop called The Patio, Acorn St, the Boston waterfront (where there was a bridal photo shoot), and watched Detective Pikachu.
Boston was very reminiscent of San Francisco in terms of its sights, particularly its demographics. Downtown had parks, memorials, an imposing financial district with fun little fast-casual food stops (like the automated Spyce). The Quincy Market was full of incredibly talented buskers (namely this guy), hoards of hungry tourists lining up for food, bars, and dogs!
The Patio was a hipster-y outdoor beer patio full of yuppies in their Ray-Bans and (more) dogs, but apparently in Boston, it's not a summer scene without a quarter of dudes rocking American-flag shorts, shirts, or hats. Or at the very least, the emblem of their respective Bostonian sport teams, like the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, or Patriots.
Acorn St. apparently is one of the last remaining true "cobblestone" roads in Boston, so it was a nice photo opportunity for all of us, as well as as portrait models we've spotted with their professional photographers. Overall, on a balmy 70-degree day with no driving, Boston was ok.
