The list of all countries I've been to: Russia. If you are thinking that living in Russia is fun — it's not. I was born here and never travelled abroad yet. Partially because my family is quite poor, partially because we cannot travel the world as easily as people from US or European countries.

Russia is no fun. Most cities here have very similar climate: it's extremely cold in Winter and super hot in Summer. The temperature jumps from -35°C to 35°C throughout the year. So you can't do anything outside in Winter because you will freeze to the bones, and you can't do anything outside in Summer because you will either melt or get burnt by the sun.

Russia is no fun. Two times per year the hot water gets turned off for two-three weeks. Sometimes it happens more often. Today, and for the next couple of weeks I'll be washing with the old method: boiling water on fire, mixing it with cold water and pouring myself with the dipper.

Russia is no fun. The only time when you will not become sweaty in one minute of Summer is at night. However, night is the time when mosquitoes and other blood sucking insects become active. Very active. If you don't want to die of the blood loss or itching yourself to death, better stay at home at night. Especially if you are outside of the city. I believe this problem is not as common in other regions of Russia but here on the Far East it's huge.
