Writing yesterdays' post, I recalled an old movie. So I am writing this post, a list of my top three comedy movies. Saw the trailers again and I'm almost rolling on the floor.
#1 Cheaper By The Dozen
This is a very old movie (2003). I must have watched it first around 2005. It is about the Bakers Family, a family of twelve kids. Those kids must not be real, else the parents would elope and never return. It's a Martin Smith classic. Seeing the trailer again yesterday gave me nostalgia, seeing young Tom Welling and Hilary Duff is priceless. Amazing movie, always. I'm getting it on my laptop asap.
#2 The Big Sick
This movie was the first time I saw Kumail Nanjiani. Almost every Kumail scene in the movie made me laugh. His facial expression throughout the movie was comical. Great story.
#3 3 Idiots
A good Indian movie with a strong theme around education, but hilariously presented. The storyline is a bit relatable because my nation is also crazy about college degrees to the detriment of education. Sounds funny but true. My favourite quote from the movie is "Pursue excellence and success will come chasing you. Pants down." A top movie for me always.
