In less than 2 days I'll be travelling back to Europe.
It will be a long trip. Around 24 hours. Luckily, I have to change flights only once. Port Moresby to Singapore, and Singapore to Berlin.
The last one is a night flight which I've taken several times now, and usually I can get a good amount of sleep.
I'll stay in Europe (mostly Germany) until the end of August. I got a trip to Bulgaria and the Netherlands planned.
It's good to go back home. I miss it.
I couple of years ago, I was very keen on getting out of Europe. I was drawn to about any other part of the world.
But now, as I'm living half way across the planet, I realize more and more what I'm missing from back home.
That everything is so close together. You could hop to another country in just about an hour. Yet all the cultures are so different and unique.
I love the free travel. No borders. Same money. It's just so easy.
I love the old buildings, which are literally everywhere. So much history. Too much to grasp actually.
And the food ... omg ...
Already gave my mum a list of dishes she has to cook for me. That's non-negotiable.
