Now day I have 2 major entertainment, Netflix and Steam. I will search for some interesting show to watch on Netflix and squeeze some time to play game on Steam.
One of Korea shows on Netflix that really attract my attention is "Memories of the Alhambra". The background story is talking about an AR video game, everyone can play the game by wearing contact lens. You can see all the AR game content through the contact lens.
As a geek, the whole concept sound really interesting, you feel like really want to have a game to play like this. The game can be related to real life location as well, an example in the show they plan to work with the fast food chain so that you can get the virtual coin rebate when your purchase in the shop and after you eat the food in the shop, you gain extra HP etc
The scary part of the show is if one player killed another player, then the player will die in real life and become an NPC, keep appear and trying to kill you again in the game. Lucky the NPC not going to level anymore, once the main character level up and get a powerful weapon, it no longer an issue, just that it will keep appeared and he needs to keep killing it again.
So far I m stop at episode 8, more to go but I really like it and think it will be one of the best show for geek.
