Facebook has gone true fourteen funding rounds. Facebook went public (Initial Public Offering) in 2012. Yet Zuckerberg holds about 60 percent voting shares.
That's genius in an industry that has a history of a certain Steve Jobs who founded Apple and got forced out in 1985. Yeah. Steve got forced out of the company he founded. He returned in 1997.
I'd argue that his investors love it with him. Peter Thiel is famous for his five hundred thousand dollars investment in Facebook in the early days, that turned into more than 1 billion dollars in cash.
Mark is not just your regular tech founder. I often think his wisdom and courage is beyond his age.
This post does not in any way absolve Mark of Facebooks' recent atrocities. I am aware of them.
