I know you're probably busy with school and procrastinating, but I just wanted to let you know that you're doing fine.
You're doing great at school, at sports, and being a kind person. Everything embarrassing you might accidentally do will be water under the bridge.
In fact, don't be shy. Go ahead and talk to the people you want to, especially the people you didn't want to befriend at first because you don't want to be weird by association. Try out that journalism club because you want to be a writer. Go out for mock trial because you've always wanted to learn how to articulate yourself. If you don't have time, that's ok--you can always start in the future.
Don't be afraid to be honest because if you go though life without making any currents, let alone waves, then that's a bit boring, no? If your opinion will raise question, stand up for injustice, and even make some people uncomfortable, go for it. It really won't matter in the long run, but it might matter in that moment for others.
Above all, don't be afraid of failure. Keep making that art that you think is ugly because you'll always get better with drawing you do, and someone out there will resonate with it.
