I like this topic of the week.

Here are two suggestions for community events:

1) A book.

Brilliantly suggested by @seunoyebode - Creating a book that we all contribute and crowd-write together. This would challenging to do with the types of type A, hustler, opinionated personalities most of us probably have but I think the end result would be beautiful. I would love to be a part of this type of a project. Between all of us, there are enough good writers, good topics, good editors, good developers, good suggestions, good marketers and good SEO experts to get us to be the #1 most beautifully written book in the 21st century.

2) Lets have a contest for the following:

- #1 Top written post on 200WordsAday
- #1 Top post for the most useful tips/hacks/advice on life
- #1 Top post for the most useful tips/hacks/advice on business

I envision that for one week, we would all submit our favorite posts for each of the categories via some type of a voting system. We would tally the votes after about a week and reward the trophy for the winner.

These are the 2 that come to mind for now...

There may be a future post with part 2.

"Between all of us, there are enough good writers, good topics, good editors, good developers, good suggestions, good marketers and good SEO experts to get us to be the #1 most beautifully written book in the 21st century. "

    " #1 Best written post on 200WordsAday

I would vote that we don't use the word 'best'. I think we should pay respect to subjectivity and stick with terms that reflect that aesthetic. Best usually implies objective. I do think it would be okay to have objective terms to define subjectivity... like 'top' since 'top' still refers to the top 'favorited' but a simple and essential 'best' implies too much objectivity.

Duuuuuude. That just gave me chills!

      @abrahamKim - Makes sense Abe.
"we should pay respect to subjectivity"

I shall pay my respects. I think top is a better choice of words. Though I do think that the writer of The Game Of Thrones is the BEST!

@zicsus - See - I knew we had enough talent and potential right here in this community.
@seunoyebode, @basilesamel -> Check out what Himanshu just said.

@keni @zyumbik proposed the book idea as well a few weeks ago. According to his calculations, we could write a 100 pages book in 2 days worth of post ??

@basilesamel - That means we could all just do this full time :)

The hardest part will be collaborating with everyone interested about the title, style and flow of the book.

I say, lets gauge the interest and make it happen.
@seunoyebode -> Book Writers Mafia Group is in the making.
