I have two kids, the big kid is 5, and the little kid is 21 month. It's been two weeks since the little kid starts going to nursery, it is a little bit early, but so far the experience has been positive.

First of all, the little kid likes to go nursery pretty much; there are times he doesn't even want go home when we pick up him. Every morning he is looking forward to going with his brother. Nursery side is also giving quite positive feedback for him. He knows how to eat himself, will signal the teacher when he wants to poo, not crying when going to school. One of the big kid's school mate brother has been crying for one month since start coming to nursery.

At first, my wife objects to send the little kid to the nursery, she thinks to send after the little kid pass two years old, but the reality hit, both of us are busy, and she can't do much work when the small kid around, lots of her work has been pending.

We are a bit worry at first but after bringing the little kid to visit his brother for a few round and he seems like enjoy, and we decided to send him over starting of 1st April.

For my wife, she finally has time to do her work, like clearing my company accounting work, she started a facebook page for some niche industry, she even has time to cook our lunch yesterday.

For me, I have been able to focus my work in these two weeks, really productive and no small interrupt while I work.

It's the right decision for everyone, and I think my wife and I finally can go for a short movie dating soon after for like 2~3 years.

@knight --- and... kids won't even start remembering anything, so you can really get away with a lot right now ;-)

@knight @brianball it is really funny truth on one hand, but it is, very unfortunately, not true on the other. Until they cannot speak, hence create congruent like... cognitive i suppose, memories, the experiences get imprinted in emotions and body... they got stuck in the subconscious, creating later reactions, behaviours, which are hard to understand, even harder to change...
And yet, they do have an amazing resilience, so that we, grown up can fuck up quite a lot and stil get away with that :-))))
