MECE stands for 'Mutually Exclusive and Collectively Exhausive.' When you think of something like strategy of your product, marketing, stesp to achieve your milestones etc, we would want to organize our thoughts with a MECE structure.

If we try to come up with a tree of your logic, we miss some of them. To avoid that, it would be beneficial to use existing framework which already has been used by many people in the history.

Today, let me organize some of the frameworks, which is nothing new but could be useful if we use them for an appropriate topic.

If we want to analyze the market where we want to fight, 3C: Customer, Competitor, and Company are the important components.

Regarding the marketing strategy, 4P: Product, Price, Place, Promotion are the four important factors from product development to sales promotion.

To find out our business opportunity and understand our position, SWOT analysis could be great factors to consider: Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threas.

Product Life Cycle

When you think of a product, it should have some stages from nothing to retiring. Typically, it has 4 stages: **Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline. **

@brianball Thanks. I did not use the above specifically yet in the real situation, but I was about using a similar one when thinking of product definition.
