The great thing about the limit being only 200 words is that, realistically, you could blab on about nearly anything and get to that number of words fairly quickly. Will it be amazing? Maybe not. But you can surely put your fingers on those keys (or thumbs on those screens) and hammer out 16.67 dozen words.
That’s what I’m doing right now because I’m not super inspired to write anything else. I had an idea earlier today but then I forgot it. I don’t wanna go digging around in my head to find it, either. So here we are.
Look at that, I’m more than half-way already and I’ve only been typing for 3 minutes.
Oh, here’s a story. Yesterday, my 3-year-old got his fingers stuck in the elevator door. Not between the door and the wall as it was closing. Nope, not this kid. He managed to get his fingers wedged in where the door retracts into the wall when it’s fully opened.
Seriously, sometimes I feel super paranoid and like a helicopter parent always making sure his limbs aren’t in a place where he’s gonna get hurt. Last night I took my eye off the ball (so to speak) for 5 seconds and wham. Fingers. Elevator door. Crying.
Aaaaaaand time. I started at 9:58 and it’s now 10:03. Sweet! Now I can go watch episode 2 of Chernobyl.
