A summary of tips researched for healthy skin

Reduce inflammation

Inflammation and free radicals are the main sources of aging. We can reduce it in a few ways:

1) Eat Berries. Berries are high in antioxidants which is best for your body to fight disease and aging. The most popular ones are: blueberries, raspberries, goji berries, grapes etc.

2) Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. They have very good inflammatory and antioxidant benefits for your body

3) Remove sugar, fried and processed food as much you can. They are main causes of inflammation in our body system.

4) Look for vitamins that contain copper, zinc, folic acid. Such as avacados, banana, citrus fruits, kale, spinach, lentils, liver, broccoli.

Consume moisturing food

Certain fats are moisturing for your skin. For example, salmon, olives and walnut contain concentrated levels of omega-3 fatty acids, known to improve skin aging.

Celery and cucumber both contain silica, which is an ingredient that boosts moisture and elasticity of your skin.

Pumpkin and squash are water, vitamin and antioxidant rich fruits packed with skin saving nutrients.

Get Vitamin C and Vitamin E

Your body needs Vitamin C to create collagen and vitamin E protects your skin from free radical and inflammation. Look for fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel and herring. Avacado, walnut and sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin C, vitamin E and other nutrients important for your skin.

Beta-carotene

Beta carotene is a red/orange pigment found in many fresh fruits and plants. They have strong antioxidant benefits and can keep your skin healthy by acting as a natural sunblock. Food rich in beta carotene are sweet potatoes, red or yellow bell peppers, apricot, carrot, tomato, and squash among many others.

On top of those mentioned above

Sleep, own a plant in your house, exercise regularly, reduce stress (yoga, and meditation), limit sun exposure.
