If you ever plan to go solo, make a digital product, or launch any kind of business

Any of these skills would help you a great deal.

A combination is possible. These are just basic skills.

Programming: The ability to build software. The ability to write code makes you maker already. You're enabled with a vital skill in our tech-saturated age. Everybody can not know how to code, but if you do know you have a good edge.

Writing: Written communication is not dead. Many think it's dead because of the rise of video content, that's ignorance. Writing is becoming more important by the day. Copy writing and business writing is in still in vogue. Engaging stories/novels still sell. Movies are first stories.

Videos: At the basic level, everyone should know how to make videos. Everyone should know how to make screen casts. Why? You have something to share with the world, and the best media is video content.

Podcasts: Ability to engage in conversations. Ability to ask thoughtful questions. Ability to be investigative in conversations. Podcast is still in its early days, its future is so bright.

That's it. If you think there's more, please add in the comment.

I sincerely hope these skills are embedded somehow in our schools curriculum.

@seunoyebode nice list. ?? The last three seems to be under the umbrella of knowing how to market/share/storytell/sell/launch your product. So marketing would be like the meta-skill. Pretty important I'm sure!

Knowing programming is definitely great as you can create complex products, though increasingly it's getting easier to create products using no-code tools. So perhaps the meta skill here is "making" as a skill, no matter what tools you use?

I have tried crowdfunding my business and the 4 skills you listed are critical. I would add:
    - Marketing.
    - Problem solving
    - Time management
    - People management ? this one needs a whole lot of deep breathing
    - Money management
