Street.

A big bright ugly yellow shop sign with red letters that say you can buy here some food to eat. The shop sign is made from chip material. The shop is in a high building.

The next shop sign that exists near this yellow one is green. It's a beer shop. Here is glitter fish and white big letters with red border on it.

The next sign is dirty light blue. It's a hotel. It looks a bit better then previous two, but it's still the bad composition.

The next signboard belong to a pub. It's the wooden signboard, a copy of English phone booth is near the door.

Is this a beautiful picture that decorate the house? No, it is not. This picture isn't good, there are a lot of different elements that don't communicate with each other.

Why does it happen?

People who decide which design of singboard will 'decorate' the house are not designers.

How this process looks like?

There is designer and a human (client/meneger) who communicates with him. This human can't call yourself as designer. Designer do the work, he send his works to client. Then client say 'no' or 'yes'. When he thinks only about external side, how this work looks and... That's all.

Then we see ugly singboard in the street.
