I've been struggling to finish a project I started a few months ago. It's about 90% complete but progress has completely stalled for a couple of reasons.

1. Technical decisions I made early on that would need changing. I built it as a single page application without realizing how important SEO could be to this project. Once I did, I couldn't decide between rewriting a lot of stuff or just going ahead with what's been built.

3. A loss of confidence in the idea and my ability to grow it. At first, with an idea, I'm super excited and my mind is rushing with new ideas. I built most of it in a month. But then thoughts crept in my mind whether I could make it work, how I'd attract enough users, the lack of easy monetization, would anyone even like this?

5. I have no idea what to name it. Usually, a name eventually comes to me that just feels right and so far none has. Is that a sign it's doomed? Should I just pick something that's okay and forge ahead?

In the last few weeks, I've managed to get out of this decision paralysis and get closer to finishing it.

First I did my research into the easiest technical solution and I found one that just required some rearranging and not much rebuilding.

As for my doubts, I realised there's nothing to lose in putting it out there. Something I inherently know but sometimes need reminding of.

Still can't think of a name though...

What is this product about? Maybe we can help.
I released 200WaD's first very minimal version in 2 days. It was the best decision of my life: stop being afraid of finishing and put yourself out there. The name can be changed later, it's not important.

@keenencharles @basilesamel It's a music board focused on sharing new and less popular music. You get points for how popular a post is and every week there's a winner with the most points.

That's my plan now. Get the technical work done and launch as soon as it is!

@keenencharles How far are you from releasing according to your estimates? I think this is a good idea.

@keenencharles @basilesamel @basilesamel I'm aiming to launch in 2 weeks. Should be finished coding this week and I plan to spend the next week polishing and creating marketing materials.
