I ordered a liter of charcoal lemonade and a liter of detox water this morning. I've been laying in bed sleeping on and off for the entire day due to the massive discomfort of my period cramps.

The charcoal water is comprised of activated charcoal, lemon, ginger, honey, brown sugar, and water.

Now, I have a general affinity for charcoal waters and I can't tell you why. So, I'm going to do a bit of research into why I may possibly like this so much.

The activated charcoal serves as a detoxifying agent because of the way it is produced with high temperatures that break the bonds of the molecules, opening surface area and availability for the charcoal to then bond with the toxins in our own bodies. Often used in for kidney health and other inflammations in the body.

Lemon and ginger in combination are also strong contenders in anti-inflammatory traits with the ginger oils that are anti-bactieral, anti-viral, anti-parasitic, and anti-fungal and lemon being high in vitamin C that is a precursor to producing collagen which makes the skin healthy and bright.

So there's two more ingredients left - brown sugar and honey. All of this together sounds like it can be externally used as a face mask as much as it is inside of my drink right now.
