I've been trying to plan my content creation for a while, and the part I struggle with is defining my "body of work": the scope of my writings, what I want to be known for, and what messages I wish to share with others. I find writing fairly easy, once I've decided what to write about. But the hard part is deciding what to write about. It's not writer's block, in the sense that I don't know what to write about, but having too much to write about and not knowing how to choose.

I think I have to accept the fact that I have a pretty clear picture on scope (I know the topics I'm interested in and the general message I want to convey for each). I need to:

1- Decide on the sequence of pieces I want to produce (for now I'm thinking of info products, and the blog posts will come after)

2- Dedicate time for writing. Not planning. Not deciding. But writing. So I have to be clear on the piece I'm producing and giving it my attention.

The reason why I'm indecisive is that I don't accept that making decisions is a layered process. I get stuck on one level and don't progress to the next. Being decisive is about trying to reach the level of action as quickly as possible, without getting stuck in any of the levels before that (even though the levels require different ways of thinking: divergent when exploring options and convergent when making a decision).

Time to be decisive!
