You need to chase the cheese even if it is right in front of you because it won't last forever.
Coming out of college you were so hungry for work and that one thing that you want to do. You either found your passion role or take the opportunity that is presented for you.
You settle into that job, a few months go by with a huge learning curve in the beginning and you are repeatedly doing things that you are supposed to do.
A couple of years go by and you are still doing the same things. Then suddenly you found out you won't have your job tomorrow.
What would be your reaction and what would you do next?
Are you going to find a new role?
Are you going to switch your career?
Are you going to sit their wonder why it happened to you?
How are you going to embrace the change?
Did you see that coming?
Do you wish you could have done something to prepare when you had the opportunity?
While there is no right answer, keep in mind that whatever you are doing right now is not going to last forever. Be ready for the future change by taking small actions right now.
