Today I'm just tying up some loose ends with my freelance clients before we head off on our two week Alaska trip.
Over the past two months I have been working pretty solidly. Currently I have three main clients that I divide my time between, with one client taking up around 20-30 hours. Because of this I've kind of let my other two clients slip by the wayside a bit. I'm hoping over this two week break to do some catch up with them without working more than 10-15 hours.
As a freelancer on the road (aka digital nomad) it's almost impossible to completely shut down. I suppose that's the price you pay for this lifestyle. While I'm not upset about this, I do want to emphasise that if you are thinking about becoming a "digital nomad", definitely be aware that you will have to bend your work-life schedule a lot.
Either way, I wouldn't trade it for a 9-5 office job!
Hopefully we see some bears and moose in Alaska! I think it will be a pretty wild trip full of adventure and awesome landscapes. I really have no idea what to expect!
