The last week in Alaska has been wild! We have seen so many beautiful landscapes and wild animals. There are moose and caribou everywhere and salmon jumping out of the rivers and streams. The water is crystal clear and the forests are rich and verdant. It’s really beautiful.
Denali National Park is massive and there is so much untapped potential to explore. You can literally just get off the bus and go into the wild - actually it’s encouraged by the park rangers! I wouldn’t be so sure though; on our bus ride into Denali we saw, on multiple instances, mother bears wandering the tundra with their newborn cubs. You definitely don’t want to get in their way! But oh boy, they are super cute!
The moose are huge and their antlers are out of this world. It’s insane how big they can grow and how heavy their antlers can get.
Everyone here has been very friendly and helpful, offering tons of valuable advice and information which has helped make our trip amazing. We have done some great hikes here too.
Theres plenty more I could write about but I’m on my phone and super tired. Time to go to bed!
