A good thing happened to me today

So what's a good thing to do for next year? One suggestion that I saw was to write on a little piece of paper when a good thing happened to you today. So what good things happened to me in the last 24 hours? I got accepted in the DataCamp scholarship I was applying for! I also tried the OpenClassrooms one but I ran out of time but I learned so much about Javascript and React that I want to dive into it this CHRISTmas holidays. Also saw some friends that I haven't seen in a while since they've been on vacation. So, the idea is to accumulate these pieces of paper from January 1 2019 and on December 31 2019, you read all these good things that happened to you. Wouldn't that be amazing? Human beings have such short term memories that we probably had to invent paper to be able to write things down. There's nothing like being able to write your memories on paper and sense the flood of reminiscing that flows once you start remembering. Would we become more optimistic people if we start writing down the good things that happen every day? Only time can tell so let's all keep on writing and building a library of great memories.

@thepageman I agree the physical act of writing seems to crystalize thoughts and create focus. I like your idea of accumulating these positive ideas every day. Each morning or each evening you can review them and continue to reinforce gratitude and positivity, which is sure to guide you through a successful 2019.

@brandonwilson yes! Let's make 2019, the year where we really become better versions of ourselves and be a blessing to others

@vickenstein as the song goes "everything counts in large amounts" (dancing to an oldskool New Wave tune)
