I know I want to write but most of the day I struggle to get anything down. I just have no idea what I want to share. I start the day all optimistic, wanting to write, wanting share. When I first open up 200 Words a Day I instantly freeze up. I just don't know what I want to write about. I usually jot down some gibberish and close it. This process repeats itself two, maybe three times, maybe more. I end up having a boatload of random drafts just sitting there. Then the day goes by. I come back to 200 Words a Day every hour or so, hoping to crunch some words and get this thing out the door - for my streak is at stake. If I don't get it done, it just eats away at me. It's something I keep thinking about and trying to resolve. All I want to to is write something, anything ... but nothing comes out - and if it does, it's probably rubbish. Just like this post.  I want to get it off my plate so I can get on with my day. I don't want it eating away at me anymore. Phew  ... Post is Done!

@jacklyons I feel you! The same used to happen to me as well. Still does from time to time, when I feel rushed. I think the only solution is to plan ahead. For example, have a weekly session to think of post ideas and prepare a short outline. You can spend an hour sitting in a bar solely to generate 10 ideas and to write down the structure. There are days where an interesting event or idea appears to you and it's easier to write, but you can't rely on them to be consistent.

@basilesamel Yeah thats a good idea! I've started jotting down draft headlines to prompt me... So I can open 200 wad and pick one that I feel like doing... It's always a good idea to be prepared :)
