We have a beautiful urban park bang opposite the building our co-working space is in. I have a spot right in front of the window facing the park that I usually park myself in to work. The park is literally 10 meters from the entrance of the building, but I've only crossed the street to it once with the intention of taking a walk... and it's been over a year since the space has been open.

Which sucks. I don't know why it's such an effort, the park is literally RIGHT THERE. It couldn't get any closer. The heat has only been ruthless for about a month, and we were incredibly blessed to have had pleasant breezy weather for almost nine months before that (which in Kuwait, is not something one takes for granted).

Taking a walk for the next 3 months, at least during daylight hours, is out of the question unless one wants to be roasted alive. But after taking a stroll just this evening, I was reminded of how much perspective one can gain by being in an open space, taking in fresh air, and allowing it to unravel the mess in your head, giving you more ideas to take back to work.
