My WiFi connection in school is always annoying. The loading cycle could keep animating for hours until the page is ready. Before it finishes loading, I am jumping between the pages to refresh them again and again with an empty mind. It's a total waste of time and I must overcome it. But how?
The essential problem is that I don't know what to do when I have to wait for a short time, like waiting for the elevator, waiting for the meal, waiting for someone, waiting for power on. Most of the people look down at their smartphone to kill the short break. It's weird that there are no better choices than filling every small piece of time with ready-made articles, news or games. It's not the time for output or reflection.
If there is a sudden one minute break, I am not ready for it.
Quotes to read? Maybe.
Questions to think? None.
Music to listen? Don't know.
Close eyes to meditate? Can't.
Just relax? Too hard.
I fear of the sudden quiet that you realize there is nothing to do but let the time go. The truth is everyday's life distributes with long-term concentration and short-term procrastination.
