flourish in the daylight of the upcoming summertime smiles

Persistence.

It takes time and it builds time because like all good things it doesn't just pop into your existence.

It doesn't just develop in your being.

It doesn't just breed itself into your code.

It takes time and it builds through time.

I've come to learn that persistence through any weather, is persistence through all weather.

It allows you to beat the storm or flourish in the daylight of the upcoming summertime smiles.

That's where it really matters.

To build you up and to bring you down is just the nature of itself.

What matters is how you get back up.

When you get back up.

Why you get back up.

Because it's the why that really bleeds into your daily life, to fill it with will just when you think there's nothing left to live for.

The most beautiful pedigree of it all is the struggle.

Because the struggle defines what your benchmark is.

You're benchmark defines who you are.

Who you are is defined by the experiences of your mind.

As a youth, you're just a sponge..

A sponge that soaks up and carries with itself every speck of your childhood

Especially the lifelong dirt.

Thank you childhood abuse.

You've taught me a lot.

You've taught me that persistence in pain...

It breeds a beast in your brain.

Thank you.

@OnepostersGems This was a good one and it resonates. Pity it was a one-time post. Thanks for sharing.

@OnepostersGems @brianball Yes. The adversity ended up becoming the biggest driving force for life and grit. Without that, I wouldn't be who I am today.

@OnepostersGems you're definitely the first ever curation account of/for 200wad! I love this. Gems indeed. Just throwing a random idea out there: perhaps there can be other curation accounts for specific topics that people write about based on interests...like writing about love, or short fiction, or programming, etc

You might have been the only other person to read this post...

@OnepostersGems I really appreciate your kind words. It's the only reason I'm deciding to write again. I'm not a writer in any regard. I simply like to put my thoughts on paper sometimes and should probably do so more.. With love - Kas!

It makes my heart weep, that "they" Oneposters are getting lost in the spacious belly of 200WaD...
But I have been thinking not just how to show these pearls to the world, but how to keep writers like that here, ACTIVE.

@basilesamel , can we do something about it...
(I remembered my struggle to come back to THIS account once i got accidentally logged out. MAYBE, just maybe, others [digitally impaired like me] might have same issues of that kind ? Maybe this kind of email which confirms one's email address before actually logging in could help? Or something else crawling from the code)

But every idea might help... what do you think guys? Some brainstorm???
(I don't want to wake up one day and realise I am a fossil... nooooooo!!!)

(yea... I KNOW... @handle hijack YET again.. but, not that there are many other kinky clubs around here to socialise... LOL)
    We talked about it @zyumbik...

@oneposter That's why I rely on you. I finally get the point of the account now. Genius. But you are right, there ought to be a way of helping "oneposters" keep going. Automatic, without AI is tricky, but unless Baz is willing to pay you as curator and promoter of the first time poster, perhaps there is something we can do...

Perhaps even just highlighting posts which are someone's first, encouraging reading.

I also thought I'd signed up to a digest, but I don't recall ever seeing one - is this not implemented yet? Or am I only dreaming? Is this burning an eternal flame? (Everything reminds me of a song...my students think I'm crazy, singing every 5 minutes, but they remember more that way!!)

@arthurkendall Thank you so much for the thought and suggestions <3
Maybe there are indeed some AI way...
(That is why I called you all here- to throw ideas. Rrisking my very safety by the hijack! hihi)

<<highlighting posts which are someone's first, encouraging reading>>
there are yellow on the daily feed.. and there are golden hearted people apart from @basilesamel writing to some of them on their first post... it seems not to be enough

We have this idea (with @philh) to prepare a separate Couch as a "Nursery", it's just a dream, and needs to go thru @basilesamel and into the code (hahaha, she laughed low scary laugh...)

@OnepostersGems @arthurkendall there is a "First post say hi" message for people who posted for the first time :P otherwise you are right pals

yes the digest was something I used to send by email (Daily Words). Now I only post it on Slack, Twitter and Facebook. Sending emails is harder than it looks, there are monthly limits on how many emails I can send from my server, so I need to balance things. And pushing through the monthly limit would demand an architecture change, which I don't have time for right now (preparing my book release).

Anyways, I'm bookmarking your suggestions and I will get back to it asap, thanks for your feedbacks :D

@basilesamel I am more that bursting from the willingness to help... :-)))

@OnepostersGems I see your great motivation! We should talk about how The Couch could be implemented in 200WaD. I sent you a message on Slack btw after your last shenanigans today :P

      @basilesamel ok, will go there
We are almost there - with the kind of a bit more detailed draft od Couch(es)
@Philh promised (he is crazy busy right now) that we post something after the weekend.
(He is writing the business maker user ... part, I am going my style crazy with all the little ideas and suggestions, thoughts and... botherers :D

@OnepostersGems Ah, the yellow message, I had forgotten. I must pay more attention. Thanks.

@basilesamel I know what it's like trying to juggle features, bug fixes, stability, scalability, etc. (just the first is massive) so don't feel too pressured by our excitement to develop this site - you're doing a great job! I understand about the email thing, I'll look on Twitter.
