I hate the concept of "first world problems" because it makes me feel stupid and entitled.
But it's true, not just for me, but for everyone: we all have problems in life that we want solved so that we can live a better life.
So yeah, no matter what one's circumstance, whether wealthy or poor, us humans will always have (or find) problems in life. In many cases it's more just about how to have a more comfortable and predictable existence in this one lifetiem.
But when I see the world as it is I feel terrible for even worrying about my problems. There are millions, if not billions of people in the world who live in poverty, don't have access to food or water, or live off less than a few bucks a day.
Because I'm not one of those people, I feel stupid for having "problems" that aren't really problems at all. Or are they?
It's like I just need to get out of my head and appreciate every single day for what it is. Enjoying existence is essential. And yet, we need to complicate things no matter what the situation... Why?
