The week

I like the idea of a weekly review.
It is short enough to make quick changes.
And it is long enough to start a new habit.

So here is what I thought of this week:


Health:
Sugars could be better
Sleep is getting better but a new variable crept up on my Oura ring. Body temperature. It was elevated which interfered with my recovery during my sleep. I need to get to the bottom of this new variable.
I haven't yet started the weight training that I planned for August.

Overall -> C+ here


Business:
Things were better here.
I researched what type of design and copy will be effective for the landing page for my kickstarter. It is a complex but interesting science.
Made progress in the different courses I am taking as well.

Overall -> B-


Personal Development:
Things are good here too.
Completed 10X book. Rereading the "Luck" book since I want to focus on that mindset.
Kept my sleep pattern and waking up early.
Stuck to the GTD system for productivity.

Overall -> B+

Experiments:
I am chasing a few experiments simultaneously... Still chasing the goal of becoming limitless... I need to step it up here..

Overall -> B


It was an ok first week of August.
To get to Awesome August, I have to step things up.

    Haha your health and my health are in tandem/sync last week. I was part of a wedding so I basically didn't watch my diet and drank alcohol and slept late.

    The whole time I was thinking wow this is how normal people feel... no wonder they need to resort to pleasure seeking rather than happiness seeking. Now i'm back on... like Gucci.

      @abrahamKim - I would have liked to get a report on that as your spotlight post Sir Abe. Random fiction smack in the middle - is hard to spotlight no?

      @keni lmao the fiction I sent isnt smack in the middle its beginning of version 3.

      I did fiction also because I wanted diversity of genres on spotlight and I remembered gabriel saying not many do fiction so I figured it best for me to be one of the fiction. Excited to read all the nonfiction from the other featured writers though : )

    @keni I am not sure what goes into the body temperature variable myself. I just know if I do all the right things regarding sleep, that one tends to take care of itself. Great summary!

      @keni 5/5 so far. I'm not going to jinx myself for a perfect month because I know my schedule is going to get crazy at the end of August..but I'll keep the streak going at least until then.

    @keni - could anybody near you help? How about RULES?

    RULES for sugars? I didn't understand how they could be better. Does that mean you need to eat better? I find simplifying the menu helps me with that.

      @brianball - Yes rules always help. But too many rules makes you binge when things go bad.
      Sugars can be better by keeping most of the variables that affect it to stay the same. Reducing variability in food, exercice, stress and sleep would help. So I should do better in making sure that is the case.
