Do you know that in the Western World the number of suicides is higher than the number of fatal car accidents?
In 2018 in the US the number of people who commit suicide in the U.S. has drastically increased while deaths from car accidents have dropped, making suicide the leading cause of injury death.
Also, research made in 2011 in Germany states that considering unnatural deaths
"among suicides, traffic accidents, and homicides, suicides (69,4%) are the main cause of death in both sexes (...) Suicide is also the leading cause of years of life lost (YLL: men 314 YLL, women 90 YLL per 100,000 inhabitants)."(The same refers to statistics in Poland.)

47 percent report feeling left out.
With this issue numbers in Europe are very different though.
Around 7% of adults in Europe (i.e. roughly 30 million people) report being frequently lonely. [10% in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, France and Greece. in the Netherlands and Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland and Sweden 3%-5%].
