We often feel connected to someone through a story we both believe in. The story can be religious, meaning both beliefs in the same philosophies. Or the story can be ideological, or it can be nationalistic or they belong to the same nation.

But the most powerful among all these are the stories about our dreams. The ones that we see when we are asleep or the ones we think about when we are awake. These stories were always there, but they were often forgotten as people never met anyone with the same dream. But that's why we love the internet and online communities.

Ideas are not rare or unique, but they are distant and effortless. It is said two people can have the same idea, in two different parts of the world at the same time. But the world is no longer distant, its close. Online is every time, the people who enable people to make this connection and help them work on it will be the gatekeepers of the stories. These stories make us feel connected to one another. So now we can dream, strive over and fight over these stories.

Some stories are worth everything, they are dreams.

@gauthamsanthosh Yuval Noah Harari in Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind says that narration is what holds together everything
I think this was also more less an attitude of Joseph Campbell in The Hero with a Thousand Faces 9and everywhere else actually)

On looking past stories and into the who we actually are. This post reminded me of a video I watched last night. Highly recommend.
