I'm currently staying in Singapore for three days. The longest time so far. Up until now, I had only spend a couple of hours in the city at most, between flights.

I have to say, I like the city. Well, there's the humidity, but that's just how Southeast Asia is. You walk a few meters outside and already feel sort of sticky.

The city is very modern, yet retains an old charm, for example through museums like the National Gallery. I'm a big fan of skyscrapers. I like the shape that they give to a city. There's plenty here. At night they look even better with all the shiny lights.

I find the Marina Bay Sands Hotel very impressive. I haven't gotten the chance to stay there yet, but it's on the bucket list. It's just huge and you can see the palm trees on top where the famous infinity pool is.

The city is incredibly clean and has a positive business. What I mean is that it's not overly crowded, but also not too empty and dull. Even on a Monday and Tuesday night the restaurants and bars around the river are buzzing.

And one last thing I always highly appreciate: An easy public transportation system.

Some might say Singapore is small and boring, so far I don't think so. I'll come back.
