safe place... or is it?

I can see this space, it is like a small glass dome. There are two people using it. They enter it together or separately, on different occasions, for a short moment or a long time. They stay there, calm, mindful, talking or just being with each other. The room seems very nice in these moments, and yet, also a bit unsettling. They are there, in this small closed space, with just one small door. What if there is a fire...?

But there are also very different moments.

Sometimes the woman, wearing a heavy, rusty, scary full body armour, as if she was some medieval warrior, barges in there and ravages everything. As if a drunk, very violent person was trying blindly to free herself from a trap. It is horrifying. Then, suddenly, she stops. She takes off the protective layers. Looks around. In terror. Cries and wails, and wails and cries. Then she starts to clean, to repair what is repairable, to replace what is replaceable.

Other times there comes the man. Actually he appears driving a huge fearsome machine. Blindly trampling over everything in its way. Then, as if by accident, he pushes some lever and an unimaginable weigh is dropped on the fragile construction. The field seems as if nothing was ever there. Then he drives away. A bit mindlessly. I wonder if he actually sees what happens. Well, sometimes he wanders back, and, very sad, looks at the spot.

Then they come, together or in turns, and rebuilt the construction. Sometimes amazingly fast, sometimes slower.

And the "safe space" is back there.

Sometimes I wonder, is there another way?

I don't know...
