In January, I reflected on my first two months as a freelancer. Now, it's time for another round.

Has working for myself turned out the way I hoped it would?

I'm so happy to say: YES! It's going pretty well. I haven't had to apply for any new jobs on Upwork for almost a month now because my current clients have given me steady work.

My earnings have been climbing each month, and I've increased my rates. So far so good.

I'm still enjoying the work itself a lot. It's not getting near boring as I'm getting to work on different types of projects and am growing with my clients.

One of the best parts is still not having to go anywhere in the morning. No stress to get out of the house. I can enjoy my breakfast peace, sit down at the dining table (my "office") and start working when I'm ready.

Not everything has been smooth sailing though. Often, prospects don't reply and ignore follow-ups. Clients I've done work for suddenly ghost even though they initially wanted it to be a long-term relationship. One client wasn't fully happy even though I did everything he asked. But nothing impossible to handle.

I'm very much looking forward to the next 2 month!

@brandonwilson Funnily, just after I wrote this a few things started going wrong. Well, it's never all smooth sailing I guess.
