I can 100% relate to the problem that, although the answers are all there in front of us, it's simply so overwhelming to get started.
I'm also a freelancer and the reason I got into web development was because I was just so damn inspired by all the indie hackers out there just building stuff and travelling the world. Funnily enough, I am literally doing that, but I still feel as though I'm not good enough or that my goals are still so far out of reach.
Deep down I want to build my own thing and start something that I am passionate about. I want to work on a project that can earn me an income and allow me to work independently of clients and bosses. I want to solve problems and use my skills for something great. But yet whenever I try brainstorming ideas and researching opportunities, I end up frustrated and deflated from hours of endless scrolling.
I don't know if it's the defeating self talk, or just pure lack of ideas, but nothing seems to stick enough to really give a solid go. Opportunities are everywhere, and there is literally no excuses to not succeed in today's world. So why is it still so damn hard to figure it out?
