Totally disappointed.
Every single thing that was significant felt rushed. While the nonsense scene took forever. I felt irritated as I watched it most of this season.

I was excited about the white walkers episode but that too happened so suddenly. What's the backstory. How did they start? Who is the main white walker guy?
Does Arya have magic powers? Why was she hiding from the creatures when she could appear and disappear on command to kill something as powerful as the chief white walker?

Then one or two episodes felt like an assassination of my time. I mean, they got all of 2018 to make this finale spectacular. It felt like it was a low budget, unimpressive dialog and predictable ending.

And yesterday - Jon felt nothing like a king. Ok - he killed Daenerys but he should have been like Tyrion. He should have told her point blank that she was crazy.
And Bran is the king? I don't get that at all.

Here's what should have happened.

Tyrion and Sansa get married and become the king and queen of the 7 kingdoms. Jon is the king of the north. Cerci gets a more deserving death and Arya becomes a knight.

@lucjah - Yup me and you both.
Write the reply post... maybe it will reach someone famous and we get a do over.

We have the right to forget this season completely.

@keni lets hope that what @juliasaxena wrote is true
<<Well, rumour has it GRRM let it all happen so his books will sell all so much better once they come out and everybody wants to find out what REALLY happened.>>
and the books will bring the fulfilment of our expectations!

@keni I hear you. I think my harsh tone became a bit more subdued between last night and this morning for some reason. I think just about everyone agrees...too rushed!

@keni @brandonwilson Exactly. The rushed part is what got to me. Example: it would have made more sense for Dany to hear about Tyrion freeing Jaime, and that they plan on doing something when the bells ring. The bells ring, and she understands that to be a plot against her and, therefore, she goes on a rampage. Going nuts all of a sudden made no sense.

There was no development to justify Bran becoming king. Every scene seemed anticlimactic.

@keni, I like your suggestion for the ending. To me it felt like Jon was punished at the end rather than celebrated as a hero.
