Music and Dancing were things I loved doing before I knew how to read. But once I understood the art of language - I have been a fan of books.
As a kid, I loved stories... I started reading a lot in my teens with Nancy Drew books. As I grew older, my preferences changed and I started to read more about psychology and human nature.
I like biographies and memoirs the most. One of my favorite book of all time is Viktor Frankl's Man's Search For Meaning. The book was written in 1946 but it answered questions I had, in a way nothing else did. It was written by Viktor - a psychiatrist by profession while he was a prisoner at Auschwitz during world war II.
Here is a snippet of a review written for the book on Amazon:
"If you're in pain, read this book. If you're scared, read this book. If you are lost, read this book. If you are happy, read this book. If you have time, read this book. If you don't have time, read this book. Read this book, read this book."
If you want to read one book in 2019 let it be - Man's search for meaning.
