It is thus essential for every one to identify such people and not ignore them but be kind and compassionate towards them. After all is there anything that a kind smile can't heal? (or a friendly comment @ OnepostersGems)
In the modern era of technology and gadgets, not only did the physical health deteriorate but also the mental health. People have now started to spend the majority of their time in the social media. The usage of social media can be considered both as an advantage as well as a disadvantage. Though it exposes us to a wide range of spectrum, it also makes us feel inferior and depressed when we don't fit into the social media standards set. We fail to understand that people never post about their failures or the other side of them. Looking at the side that they show in the social media, we can't judge about a person.
Coming on the main theme, how is the mental health looked upon in the society. After I came to know a lot of people in my life, I discovered that many of the people suffer from problems like anxiety and depression from a very young age. The affected person do not often get the affection and care that they thrive for, even from their peers. It is sad to be isolated from peers and ignored. This can further worsen the conditions of the person. It is thus essential for every one of them to identify such people and not ignore them but be kind and compassionate towards them. After all is there anything that a kind smile can't heal?
