Ladies and gentlemen,
I can hardly contain myself as I write this post.
Yesterday - I work up to a 79 on my Oura readiness score.
I was told it was my resting hear rate that caused me to not recover. So I wrote the post yesterday after researching what can help with lowering my RHR.
Out of all the things listed, I knew I could adapt the 3 quite easily.
So I did.
I took a shower right before bed.
I listened to classical music for 20 minutes while doing deep breathing simultaneously.
And slept on time.
I woke up this morning to this:
Readiness score - 86(+19 from 2 days ago)
Comment - Challenge Yourself. Your readiness is strong and improving.
Today is a great day for setting new records.
Sleep score 76 Resting Heart Rate - 66 (-5 from yesterday)
This is a massive improvement in just a day and I already feel like I have set a record. It has been a 4 day journey of tweaking, changing, experimenting and improving to get here. It is very exciting and rewarding to see the direct impact.
These Oura people are making me their spokesperson with this type of a feedback and improvement loop.
Happy and energized to kill it today.
