 Dear younger me,

Through the years, you will have a love - hate relationship with fear.
But most things you are afraid of WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Also there is NOTHING that you can't recover from. So:

1. Don't fear being hurt. You will not remember the hurt you thought would kill you. The moments of pain will show you how strong you are.

2. Don't fear saying NO. Saying NO doesn't come naturally to you. But you need time for important things. Organize and plan what YOU want. Be selective about why and who you give up time for.

3. Don't fear public speaking. This is something you will learn to love and apply it more often. You get better with practice so start soon.

4. Don't fear changing jobs. Stability and job security isn't what it used to be.

"The riskiest thing you can do is be safe" - Seth Godin

Start the habit of writing down everything that scare you.
When you look back on that list, you can realize how far you have come by 2019.

You HATE fear now but it will drive you to your best work yet.

@keni I Love this. How often do we forget these things? Not wanting to get hurt, not wanting to say no.

    Thank you Keni

@seunoyebode - Thank you Seun. I like this experiment of letter to self. That was a fantastic idea. I still need to tell myself these things.
