When one of my favorite writers Mark Manson turned 30, he asked his subscribers to write to him about what they would tell their 30 year old self.
He explains this experiment on this post.
10 Life Lessons to Excel In Your 30s – A crowd-sourced article from my older readers on what they all wish they knew when they were 30-years-old.
After reading it, I got two ideas for here.
1) Could we do a similar community sourced article - like the topic of the week where it is based around our experiences and mistakes? With the type of diversity and experience we have here, we could easily come up with a wealth of information that can be a very useful article. We can start the book project once we see how this idea turns out.
2) Could we base the articles around the following topics:
a) What I learnt as a teen, in my 20s/30s/40s/50s.
c) My health through the years
d) The lessons I learnt in dealing with people who don't think like me
e) The business mistakes I learnt from
f) What I cherish from my parents/grandparents wisdom.
I think an article is doable and soon.
