There are days when you plan to write something meaningful. So, you show up to 200 words, and you just read a few posts.
You close the browser, get back to work and let your thoughts simmer. It's like turning your stove on low - while you then go about household chores.
Has it ever happened that you forgot what you had on the stove? The pan simmers down to no liquid and now you're turning your food into layers of carbon. Ruined.
The same can happen with words.
All the intentions are good. Solid. Correct even. But, unless you have an alarm, a reminder service, or a plan-b you might be falling out of #teamstreak.
Here's a simple trick:
- Become a Patron
- Write a utility post like this one ( this is real writing, not a placeholder )
- Then schedule it for later in the day.
- If you forget to un-publish it by then with a better post, you'll be safe.
Who doesn't want to be safer?
Guys. Me. Moi -- that's who. What fun is life if everything is so safe?
200 words? Geezus. That's simple. It's a thought, a recipe, an idea explored for a few minutes.
But that really meaty post requires some simmering.
So, until it's ready, write something else.
