Let me just start with: Sorry, if this is garbage post… It's the weekend!

Most weekends I simply cannot be bothered to write on here. I really can't. (side note: that's something I gotta figure out, maybe now that I am a paid member I should just start scheduling in advance!).

After a full week on the computer, and even side coding on the weekend, the absolute last thing I want to do is get on here and write. I'm sorry, but it's

But that's the thing about building habits and making change: You gotta be prepared and ready (or willing) to show up no matter what the conditions. So in a way, writing 200 words a day is a good form of self-discipline and grit.

This sort of habit making, and personal accomplishment can surely be transferred to other skills or habits. I would like to try other skills for 30 days or more. But I find it really hard to find the sweet spot where it's just within reach, every day.

The 200 WAD proposition is literally 'just right'.

Now … How to find the sweet spot in other habits that I want to form?

    @jacklyons Congrats on joining the 100 Club. I will give you a quote I heard this weekend: “How you do anything is how you do everything.” Keep going.

    @jacklyons

    Are you still open to writing on paper over the weekends?

    @jacklyons - in 100 days you haven't got this sorted. You're a stubborn one.
