Grin of Confidence

You  may be too old to remember it. Maybe you've never experienced it.

It's that feeling when  you are getting your stuff taken care of intentionally and your body is tight with muscle and you're eating well and you have more income than expenses and you enjoy your work.

Things are going well. You're not doing EVERYTHING. You're not reading a lot, you're not on Duolingo learning Arabic, but you have friends, you have fun, and you spend your days the way you want. Oh, and it's summer time. Which means the weather is fantastic and your weekends don't have any accumulated work to worry about.

This feels awesome.

But what is this feeling? Why does it feel so good to have tight muscles and income and spend your days the way you enjoy with no worries about the future?

Could we wall just have this? Could we all just be this happy even if we're not in our teens? Even if a  few ab exercises make our back muscles tight and our six-pack is safe and warm under a layer of potentially useful caloric reserves?

The Dalai Lama has this grin. What does he know that we don't?

@brianball - I like this write up Brian. It's so not the 10X plan and I love it.

I meet people like that from time to time... I describe it as - this person has a secret joke perpetually running in his head. My University advisor was one such person. He has that Dalai Lama' smile as he talks about Sine and Cosine calculus.

Project 'Smile like the Dalai Lama' shall we?

@keni - yes, one thing it says to me is "ENOUGH" -- I have enough. I'm good enough. It must be the feeling the Life is Good guys are talking about.
